It was May 11, 1984 when this video of the late Robert Noyce was taken.  As we all know, Robert Noyce is a Silicon Valley pioneer, being one of the 8 engineers who left Shockley to form Fairchild.  He co-founded Intel in 1968 with Gordon Moore, and is considered a semiconductor industry superhero by many semiconductor engineers who admire his brilliance. It has been said many times that Intel employees during his time were treated like family and could look forward to a long and fulfilling career at Intel.
