thanks paul.  yes my hotplate temperature is 250°

as I'ved notice during decapsulation using sulfuric acid, the compound dissolves as well as the copper wire. I'ved tried to check the package from time to time.

laser decap is on the wish list of many companies. Is anyone on the forum have this equipment? Do you have any feedback? Is it worth it?

I'ved already ask everybody on the semiconductor FA I know but none of them have it, I am still searching for a facility who have this laser decap instrument
